Travel and laziness.

It’s invariable that I have grand intentions with some project or travel, gather the appropriate materials, and then do absolutely nothing toward realizing those intentions after I’ve obtained all the necessary components or data.

So far everything aside from photos from Greece is following that pattern. With any luck, however, I’ll actually make myself do some things with writing up what went on and playing around with geotagging the pictures I took with the tracklogs I saved.

For the meantime, a gallery of images from the trip.

Unrelatedly, I think I’m going to change directions for graduate school. Computer Science is increasingly uninteresting to me academically, with some exception for a few specific classes. Applied Physics, however, looks to be something rather interesting. Its core is in Physics, obviously, but it allows 16 hours of elective credit selected from a wide range of fields. So, I could take the core, and dabble around with interesting CS and Geosciences classes. Anyway, I need to get to submitting my application; the normal application deadline is next Sunday.
